How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Diesel fuel filter

First, locate the filter, which is situated at the lower part of your vehicle, approximately at the height of the rear passenger seats. Equip yourself with safety gear, as you will be working with highly flammable materials, and have an oil catch tray ready to avoid spills. Once located, remove the clips securing the inlet and outlet pipes. After that, disconnect the pipes, and then unscrew the bolts securing the filter to the car's body. Replace the filter and retrace your steps for reassembly.
