Ford Edge - Video tutorial

Model: Ford Edge MK 1 - Years 2006-2014
Part: Fuse box
Operation: How to replace the fuse of the Ford Edge alarm

When the alarm on a 2009 Ford Edge vehicle stops working, the cause could be a malfunctioning fuse. The fuse for the theft deterrent system is located inside the fuse box in the interior of the vehicle, specifically between the steering column and the pedal on the upper left. The fuse in question is a red 5 Amp fuse, number 36. To replace the fuse, simply remove it using needle-nose pliers and insert the new fuse in its place. Close the fuse box and test the alarm system.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
