How to replace the gear shift knob in the Ford S-Max?

Model: Ford S Max MK 1 - Years 2006-2016

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gear lever boot in the Ford S-Max, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, go inside the cabin, then grab the chrome ring below the knob, rotate it counterclockwise and detach the boot. Then separate the knob from the shaft by unscrewing it completely, unhook the base of the boot by levering along its perimeter and remove it as well. At this point, all that remains is to position the replacement and reassemble everything following the exact reverse procedure.
