The procedure for replacing the timing belt on the Ford Fiesta involves accessing the left side of the engine block: here you will need to loosen the nuts that secure the central pins of the crankshaft and camshaft pulleys, along with the tensioner pulley. In this way, the tension of the belt will be reduced and it will be possible to remove it from its housing: once the old belt has been removed, the new one can be inserted around the pulleys, which must then be re-timed. After installation, the nuts can be tightened again to restore tension.
