How to Replace the Handbrake Cable on a Ford Focus

In this video, we will show how to disassemble a brake disc to replace the handbrake cable on a Ford Focus. Position your car on a column lift, loosen the bolts with a telescopic spanner, and raise it to a comfortable height. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, then start unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket, accessing the inside of the brake disc to disconnect the handbrake cable. Now disconnect the handbrake cable and unscrew the bolts located under the car's body. Install the new handbrake cable as shown in the video, then fit the brake disc with all the associated bolts, tighten the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all bolts are tightened properly. Finally, fit the wheel back onto the car.
