Changing License Plate Lights to LED on the Geely Emgrand

To replace the license plate light on the Geely Emgrand, first remove the rear panel of the hatch. Use plastic tools to ensure nothing gets damaged. Once all the clips are removed, the panel comes off easily. Disconnect the electrical wires and remove the 6 bolts holding the piece in place. Take off the outer gasket - the one with the Geely logo - using the removal tools. Remove the bulb from the plate, install the new bulbs - remember to never touch the bulbs with your hands, especially LED ones - reattach the gasket with the Geely logo to the plate and put everything back in place. Reconnect the electrical connectors and re-tighten the bolts that hold the piece. Now you can put the rear panel back in place. Job done.
