To replace the variator of the Gilera Runner 50, you need to loosen the screws securing the cover of the casing located near the rear wheel. Once the casing is removed, you will have access to the transmission: you will need to loosen the nut securing the central pin of the variator and then slide it off, removing the belt.

Once the old variator has been removed, you can install a new one and position the belt around it. Finally, secure the new variator with its nut and close the casing by screwing in the relevant bolts.
