To replace the headlight on a GMC Savana, loosen the screws around the headlight that secure it in its housing; once these screws are loosened, detach the cover that surrounds the headlight to free it from its housing. After freeing the headlight, disconnect the connector at the back so the unit is completely released. Then, connect the new headlight to the connector, insert it into its place, and secure it with the screws removed earlier.
