This guide shows how to change the engine oil on a Harley Davidson Street Glide. First, secure the motorcycle and unscrew the oil tank cap. Then, from the bottom of the motorcycle, unscrew the drain plug from the oil sump using a 15mm spanner; allow the oil to drain into a suitable disposal container. On the left side of the motorcycle, begin unscrewing the oil filter and place a plastic bag to catch the outgoing oil. Remove the old filter and clean the housing. Lubricate the gasket of the new filter and install a new o-ring on the drain plug, then reassemble the components. Refill the oil to the correct level and run the engine. Check the oil level again.
