The battery that powers the remote control that opens and closes the doors of the Honda HR V eventually runs out, and we need to replace it. To do so, we turn the side of the remote with the logo facing upwards, slide the lever to extract the metal blade, insert a small screwdriver into the slot that is revealed to separate the shell and access the battery compartment. Using the screwdriver, remove the battery and insert a new CR 2032 with the positive pole facing upwards, put the shell back on and insert the metal blade.
