How to open the hood of the Honda Civic

Model: Honda Civic MK 10 - Years 2016-2021

Opening the front hood of the Honda Civic is very simple. To open the hood, you will need to open the driver's side door, pull the lever with the car symbol next to the pedals. Then you will need to go to the front of the hood to insert your fingers into the small indentation and move the internal lever to the right, thus opening the hood. Once the maintenance operation is completed, to close the hood you will need to release the rod to which you have attached it to support it and let it fall. If the hood is struggling to open, the cause could be a malfunctioning fuse.
