How to reset the service indicator light on the Honda CR-V (RE)

In this video we can see how to reset the service light on a Honda CR-V RE version, that is, those produced between 2007 and 2012. Getting into the car, make sure all doors, the front hood and the rear hatch are closed. The dashboard must be off: we will turn it on when we get in. Inside the odometer housing, we find a button/dial: press it and hold it for ten seconds, until the messages "oil life" and "cancel" are displayed on the screen. Now rotate the button until the "oil life" message flashes. Press and hold the button for ten seconds, until the "100% oil life" message is displayed. At this point, the service is reset.
