Whenever you change the engine oil on your Honda CR-V, you must complete the job by resetting the service indicator that has illuminated on the dashboard. The following description provides the instructions and procedure to follow for the reset. Once inside the cabin, turn on the ignition. Scroll through the various menu options on the onboard computer using the left steering wheel controls until you reach the service option. Then, press the OK button and hold it for a few seconds until the service light turns off.
