Honda CR-V - Video tutorial

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012
Part: Engine oil
Operation: How to change Honda Cr-V oil and oil filter

To change the oil and the engine oil filter (5w-20 oil from 5 liter Mobil1 is used in the video) we start by opening the bonnet and holding it up, lift the car with a trolley jack, keep it raised with stands, under the car near the oil pan we find the word "engine oil", unscrew the bolt with a 17mm socket wrench holding a container underneath. Near the oil drain plug, we find the oil filter that we are going to unscrew a special wrench to unscrew oil filters always keeping a container underneath. At this point we can reassemble the new oil filter, screw the oil pan cap back on with a tightening torque of 20 foot per pound. Now let's go to the top of the engine, where we're going to unscrew the oil filler cap, insert a funnel and pour 4 liters of oil (referring to the notches marked on the oil tank). At this point we can take the oil dipstick, clean it, reinsert it and extract it again, checking the oil level again. If the oil level is just below the "max", top up a little by pouring oil, while if it is in the "max" sign, the operation is complete. Now let's go inside the vehicle, start the car and check that the oil warning light goes out. Now we can reset the service by pressing the button that comes out in the lower right part for about 10 seconds, we notice that the message "oil life" and the word "cancel" flash on the display, turn the button to make the word "oil life flash" ", keep the button pressed until the display flashes, keep the button pressed until" oil life 100% "appears, finally put the car back on the ground and we can close the engine hood.

How to reset the Renault Master AdBlue warning light

If when you turn on the ignition you see a strange warning relating to AdBlue, do not worry because it is nothing serious. Everything is solved in a few minutes and with a very low cost. In fact, it is a particular additive used in Diesel engines to reduce the environmental impact. Before continuing with the various steps it is therefore necessary to purchase a tank of AdBlue. Furthermore, all the various operations must be carried out with the engine off. The AdBlue tank is located on the passenger side, between the door and the tailgate. Unscrew the blue cap present and pour in the new AdBlue with the help of a rubber hose or an appropriate funnel. Once this is done, you can close the tank and the flap. Switch on the ignition again and the warning light has disappeared.
