How to remove the tailgate lock from a Honda Jazz? Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws located in the internal panel space of the tailgate; remove the trim plastic, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Disconnect the lock from the tailgate (unplug the power wiring and the opening cable) and install a new one. Reassemble the plastics and associated parts in reverse order. Test the correct operation of the lock.
