How to Reset the Service Light on a Honda HR-V MK2

Model: Honda Hr V RU, MK 2 - Years 2016-2022

To reset the service light on a Honda HR-V MK2, start the car with the key. Pay attention to the three buttons on the right side of the steering wheel (visible from the back) and the central display. Use the top button to scroll through the menu until "Vehicle Settings" appears. Press the central button to enter. The menu also shows "TPMS Calibration" (tyre pressure monitoring system), useful if the TPMS light is on: select it and confirm with the central button to start the calibration. For the service, scroll to "Maintenance" and press the central button. The display shows the Oil Life, for example at 5%. Press the central button to go back, then press the top button until "Reset" appears: confirm with the central button. The system will show "Reset complete". Check that the Oil Life is now at 100%. Exit the menu or return to the desired screen.
