How to Change the Front Headlight Bulb on a Honda CR-V

To change the front headlight bulb on the Honda CR-V, open the bonnet and locate the rear of the headlight unit. Remove the rubber or plastic protective cap at the back of the headlight to access the bulb.

Disconnect the electrical connector attached to the bulb and unclip the metal spring that holds it in place. Then, pull out the burnt bulb from its housing.

Insert the new bulb in the same position, taking care not to touch the glass with your fingers. Reattach the retaining clip and reconnect the electrical connector.

Replace the protective cap on the back of the headlight, close the bonnet, and turn on the headlights to check that the new bulb works correctly.
