How to Change the Headlight Bulb of a Honda CR-V

To replace the headlight bulb on a Honda CR-V, open the bonnet and locate the rear of the headlight unit corresponding to the bulb to be changed. In some cases, it may be helpful to slightly move the windscreen washer reservoir or other components for more space. Remove the protective cover at the back of the headlight, then disconnect the electrical connector of the bulb. Release the retaining metal clip or rotate the bulb holder, depending on the type of bulb installed. Extract the old bulb, taking care not to touch the glass of the new one with your fingers, then insert the new one of the same type. Refit the clip or bulb holder, reconnect the electrical connector, and close the rear cover of the headlight. Finally, turn on the headlights to check proper operation.
