Replacing the Internal Rear View Mirror

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012

Detach the internal rear view mirror by rotating it from the mount. Then, unscrew the screws securing the interior light, including those under the courtesy light lenses, and remove the interior light itself by disconnecting the connectors. Also, remove the sun visors, the trim along the windscreen pillar, the plastic cover of the pillar, and the scuff plate cover, as well as the side cover near the bonnet release lever; also remove the cover located just below the indicator stalk to expose the fuse box. At this point, run the wiring from behind the fuse box, then along the pillar and finally from under the headlining to reach the internal rear view mirror where the connector will be attached before securing it to the respective mount. Secure the wiring with cable ties, reassemble the previously removed trims, then the seals, the interior light, and the sun visors. Finally, make the electrical connections as per the attached diagram and complete the installation of the trims.
