Exhaust System Replacement Instructions

Lift the rear of the vehicle with a jack and use axle stands to support it safely during disassembly. Spray penetrating oil on the mounting bolts of the flange connecting the exhaust pipe to the silencer; then undo the bolts, disconnect the rubber mounts of the silencer, and remove it from its seat. Replace it with a new one, and if you drive on snowy roads treated with salt, it is advisable to opt for a stainless steel exhaust that will last longer, justifying the higher cost of the replacement.
