Deactivate and Remove the Bonnet Sensor on Honda Civic

In this video, learn how to replace the sensor and the bonnet closure mechanism on a Honda Civic from 2006 to 2012, to deactivate the open bonnet warning light. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the upper plastic cover by taking off all the upper clips; then, unscrew the fastening screws of the closure mechanism using a socket spanner. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor found at the back and also disconnect the cable from the springs; all that’s left is to replace it with the new one!

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open.
