Replacing Front Brake Pads

Model: Honda Accord MK 8 - Years 2008-2013

Lift the vehicle and secure it. Remove the wheel and gently detach the caliper by removing the two retaining bolts with a ratchet spanner. Remove the retaining springs from the shoe cover and, using a ratchet spanner, completely remove the bolts. Remove the shoes and pads. Remove the shoe supports. Tighten the fixing bolts securely. Refit the shoe supports using a torque wrench. Install the new pads and shoes. Reposition the cover springs and tighten the bolts. Reattach the clips to the brake pipe. Ensure that the pads touch the disc.
