Fitting a Leather Cover on the Steering Wheel

Model: Honda Insight ZE3, ZE2 - Years 2009-2014

If the steering wheel is worn, you can purchase an aftermarket leather cover to sew on-site, choosing both the leather colour and the stitching (usually a needle is also provided).
The first step is to thoroughly clean the steering wheel; then apply the cover, carefully aligning the stitches with the spokes of the steering wheel and using masking tape to secure it and prevent movement during sewing. Sew by passing the thread through the existing holes, ensuring it remains taut without knotting. Once the sewing is complete, tie a knot to prevent the thread from slipping out.
