Change the Front Shock Absorbers

Model: Honda Accord MK 6 - Years 1998-2002

First, remove the wheel. Remove the lower bolt that secures the shock absorber to the lower arm. Remove the retaining clip and the nut from the upper arm. Using a bar, push down on the lower arm to free the shock absorber. Remove the three upper bolts accessible from the engine bay. To remove the spring, compress it using a spring compressor. Assemble the remaining components onto the new shock absorber, ensuring the correct orientation and order of assembly. Finally, fit the spring, placing it in the correct position, and reassemble everything in reverse order.
