Replacing the Engine Air Filter

Model: Honda Accord MK 8 - Years 2008-2013

The engine air filter housing is located just behind the battery; once you open the bonnet, unclip the retaining springs of the cover and remove the old filter. Ensure there are no dirt residues inside the housing (remove any with a vacuum cleaner to prevent them from entering the intake duct) before inserting the new filter and closing the cover by reattaching the springs. Consider installing a sports-type filter, which not only improves engine performance but also does not need to be replaced, just cleaned with the appropriate detergent.
