Changing the gear oil is very important to extend the life of the gearbox and maintain its reliability and efficiency. The necessary operations are simple and can be performed by anyone. First, lift the front bonnet. Then, reach the underside of the car and locate the designated drain plug. Being clearly visible and not covered by various protections, there should be no difficulties. Position a container directly underneath and unscrew it completely. Wait for all the used oil to drain out. Once done, you can screw the plug back in. If there is excessive dirt or rust, it is advisable to clean it thoroughly to ensure a proper seal. Finally, locate the oil filler neck in the engine bay and pour in the new gear oil using a funnel long enough to carry out the task easily and without spills.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
