How to Change the Radio in a Honda CR-V

Model: Honda CR-V MK 4 - Years 2012-2017

To start changing the radio, begin by removing the air vents on either side of the radio using a plastic wedge to pry at the sides of the vents; once the vents are removed, unscrew the two screws at the bottom sides of the radio, pull it out by disconnecting the switch plugs and the radio plugs. Take the new radio, connect all the plugs and insert it into its slot, checking its operation by turning on the instrument cluster. After installing the radio, note that the hazard light button is obscured, so you need to create space for the switch at the top of the plastic protruding from the radio. At this point, you can insert the vents into the plastic in the designated shape, then connect the hazard light plug and insert the radio into its housing.
