Honda Civic - Video tutorial

Model: Honda Civic MK 8 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Bushings
Operation: How to replace the rear silent blocks in the Honda Civic?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the rear silent blocks in the Honda Civic, elements also commonly called bushings. First of all we lift the vehicle on a bridge or with a jack, obviously taking all the necessary safety measures, after which we remove both the wheel on the side where we are going to work and the inside of the mudguard. We then unscrew the two fixing bolts of the lower arm, release the brake system pipe and separate the arm from the frame. To remove the silent blocks we can use a puller, a vise or, as shown in the video, use a chisel and a hammer. Once the spare parts have been inserted, we can reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.

How do I unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved. It may be necessary to repeat the operation more than once for its success. After unlocking the gearbox, it can return to its original state by simply waiting for the aforementioned 15 minutes, or by pushing the release lever forward for a few seconds.
