This tutorial shows how to replace the rear bushes, commonly referred to as silent blocks, on a Honda Civic. First, lift the vehicle on a ramp or with a jack, taking all necessary safety precautions. Then, remove the wheel on the side you will be working on as well as the inner wheel arch. Next, unscrew the two fastening bolts of the lower arm, disconnect the brake line, and separate the arm from the chassis. To remove the bushes, you can use a puller, a vice, or, as shown in the video, a chisel and hammer. Once the replacements are inserted, reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
