To change the engine air filter on the Honda Pilot, first open the hood. Locate the position of the filter. Remove the cover. Clean the area where the filter is housed: it will likely have accumulated debris and dust. Get the new filter and pay attention to the installation direction, so be mindful of the orientation of the arrows. Now you can put the cover and the intake back in place. Ensure that all clips, including those at the back, are in their proper position; otherwise, the filter will not function. You can close the hood. Job done.
