If the remote for your first-generation Honda Jazz (2001-2008) has suddenly stopped working due to a dead battery, don't worry as you can easily replace it by following these steps. First, obtain a small cross-head screwdriver to easily unscrew the screw located at the top of the cover. Next, open the cover and locate the button cell battery. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one (model CR 1616). Refit the cover and you're done.
