Removal and Installation of the Steering Wheel

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012

Remove the cover located just beneath the steering wheel where the connectors need to be disconnected. Now, using a Torx insert, unscrew the bolts on the sides of the steering wheel to remove the front panel where the brand symbol is located. Next, unscrew the bolt in the centre of the steering wheel. Be careful to mark the position of the steering wheel as you remove it. With a bit of play, detach the steering wheel and disconnect any additional connectors present. Under the steering column, remove the screws and pull the upper part upwards and the lower part downwards. Remove the two screws from the white plastic parts, then pull forward this last part of the steering wheel while carefully disconnecting the last connectors. After completing the necessary checks and any replacements, reassemble everything by following the steps in reverse.
