The operation to reset the Service light on the Honda HR-V involves turning on the instrument cluster by turning the ignition key in the appropriate lock: this will allow you to navigate within the menu on the instrument cluster using the directional arrow controls under the right spoke of the steering wheel.

You will then need to select the "Vehicle settings" option: at this point, proceed by selecting the "Maintenance info" option and then "Reset". You will notice that the Service light has been reset and the instrument cluster can be turned off.
