In the Honda Pilot, it is possible for the fuel door to get stuck, for example due to a malfunction in the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, it is possible to perform an emergency opening by following the procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we open the trunk door, then we remove the panel located on the left wall of the compartment using the emergency key. Next, we locate the actuator mechanism, grab it, and manually activate it. At this point, the fuel door will be free to open and we can refuel.
