Hyundai Getz - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai Getz MK 1 - Years 2002-2011
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: Disassembly of a shock absorber support of a Hyundai Getz

Let's see in this video how to intervene on the disassembly of a shock absorber support of a Hyundai Getz. We place our car on a column bridge, loosen the pins with a telescopic wrench and lift it to a preferred height to intervene. We unscrew the pins and remove the rim, then we begin to unscrew the shock absorber locking pins with a socket wrench or a compressed air drill. We unscrew the pins of the shock absorber in the upper part (engine compartment) and detach the same from the car body. Once the shock absorber has been extracted, let's disassemble it with the help of a special machine for pressing the spring. We reassemble the shock absorber with the new spring support. Let's get ready to mount the piece on the car by proceeding backwards.
