How to replace the battery of the Hyundai Tucson MK2

In this video, we can see how to replace the battery of the Hyundai Tucson MK2: we open the engine compartment by pulling the hood release lever and then lift it up using the lever located just above the Hyundai emblem, placing the rod in the slot marked by the arrow. The battery is located in the hood, on the right side, and we will need a 10mm wrench and a socket of the same size, as well as a ratchet with a 12mm extension. First, we disconnect the negative terminal, the black one, which we will safely store. Same procedure for the positive red terminal. Now we need to remove the 12mm safety bolt at the bottom, for which we will need the extension; we remove the air filter cover to work better, then remove the battery protection and finally grab it by the handle and pull it away. Clean the base and place the new battery in its place, put the cover back on and then the safety bolt. Replace the air filter cover and reconnect the terminals: first the positive red one and finally the negative black one. Job done.
