How to change the battery of the Hyundai key.

Model: Hyundai Tucson LM, MK 2 - Years 2010-2015

To replace the battery in the Hyundai Smart Key remote, work on a stable surface and have a new CR2032 battery and a small flat tool (the metal blade of the key, if available) within reach. Locate the seam line of the shell and the small opening point: insert the tool into the gap and gently pry it, just enough to separate the two halves without marking the plastic. Open the remote carefully until you can access the circuit board and battery compartment. Remove the old battery, using the tool only if necessary, and avoid forcing the metal contacts. Insert the new CR2032 battery, maintaining the same orientation as the previous one, respecting the + / - symbols present in the compartment. Once the battery is in place, reassemble the two halves of the shell and press along the perimeter until everything is flush. Finally, check that the controls are working correctly (opening/closing and, if applicable, trunk).
