How to replace the number plate light fitted on a Hyundai Kona? Open the boot lid, remove the light that contains the bulb (located inside the tailgate) and unscrew the securing screws at the side of the boot (if present); once the light is free from any constraints, detach it from the tailgate (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace the light and damaged bulbs with equivalent parts of the same size and voltage. Finally, reassemble the new number plate light by reversing the assembly steps with all parts.
