Today, we will go through the steps to replace the remote battery of a Hyundai Santa Fe, produced from 2008 to 2012. To perform the replacement, remove the emergency key contained within the remote. Open the remote and remove the damaged battery. Insert the new ECR 2032 battery, available online or at auto parts stores, and close the remote. Reinsert the emergency metal key into the remote and test its operation by standing in front of the vehicle and pressing the unlock and lock buttons.
