How to Replace the Timing Belt on Hyundai I20

Today, learn how to easily and quickly replace the timing belt on the Hyundai I20 produced from 2014 to 2021. Turn off the engine, pull the handbrake lever, and open the front bonnet. The timing belt is located on the left side of the engine compartment, and to replace it, you need to lift the right side of the vehicle and remove the right front wheel. After lifting the vehicle on axle stands, use a timing belt removal tool to slide it off the pulley. Once the belt is removed, you can insert the new one; to facilitate insertion, coat it with grease. Insert the belt onto the pulley and start the engine for a few seconds so that the belt can position itself correctly. Finally, lower the vehicle and refit the right front wheel.
