How to Reset the Service Light on a Hyundai i30

The illumination of the light with the wrench symbol, known as the service light or maintenance light, indicates that you need to visit an authorised workshop for the servicing operations. After completing the servicing, you must reset the light. To reset the service light on a Hyundai i30, press the TRIP A button located on the steering wheel. Once in the settings menu, press and hold the reset button for a few seconds to initiate the update of the mileage for the next service. After the update is complete, restart the instrument cluster.
