Let's see how to disable the internal alarm sensor on the Hyundai Tucson. This feature is useful when you want to leave pets in the car (but also children, with the necessary precautions) and lock the vehicle with the alarm activated, without the movements inside the cabin triggering the siren.

Access the settings menu from the central infotainment display. Press the 'Vehicle' button and then scroll until you find the 'Comfort/Convenience' option.

Inside, look for the 'Advanced Anti-theft' option: be careful not to confuse it with 'Rear Occupant Alert', which is a different function. Deselect the option.

Once this option is turned off, you can leave your pets (with the necessary care and attention) in the car with the alarm activated. Their movements will not trigger the alarm.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
