Replacing the remote battery is a simple and quick operation that you can do yourself. To change the battery, press the black button on the back of the remote and remove the emergency metal key contained inside. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the remote to apply pressure, which will split the remote into two parts. Remove the worn battery and insert the new CR2032 3-volt battery. Close the two ends of the remote and reinsert the metal key. Test its functionality by standing in front of your Tucson.
