Front Headlight Replacement

Model: Hyundai Santa Fe MK 2 - Years 2006-2012

This video illustrates how to replace the front headlight of a Hyundai Santa Fe. Start by opening the bonnet. If you have the Santa Fe manual, refer to section 6, page 24 for the correct replacement instructions. Using a 10 mm socket, remove the 2 bolts located above the headlight. Also remove the bolt located inside near the battery using the same socket. Now, by pushing a bit from the inside, you can extract the headlight unit. Disconnect the connector. Now, from the back of the headlight, unscrew the rear cover of the bulb you want to replace. Unscrew the bulb by turning it 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull it out. Take the new bulb (H11B); try not to touch the glass part (this will prevent it from getting dirty). Insert the new bulb and screw it in 1/4 turn clockwise. Refit the rear cover of the bulb. Reconnect the connector and reposition the headlight in its compartment. Refit the three screws that secured the headlight.
