Replacing the Gear Knob on a Hyundai Getz

Model: Hyundai Getz MK 1 - Years 2002-2011

Removing the gear knob and protective gaiter on a Hyundai Getz. Remove the knob and replace it with a new one. Grip the knob with both hands and detach it from the rod. Remove the leather gaiter frame located above the centre tunnel, lift it, and take it off. Take the new knob and slide it onto the rod on the centre tunnel along with the gaiter until it is secured on the rod (tighten the metal clip). Lower the leather gaiter and secure it with the clips on the centre tunnel. Test the movement of the rod on the centre tunnel to ensure the correct installation of the knob. Use plastic trim removal tools.
