Number Plate Light Replacement for Hyundai Santa Fe

Let’s see how to replace the bulbs that illuminate the number plate on the Hyundai Santa Fe. Lift the tailgate of the car and locate the light unit. Unscrew the securing screws on either side of the light unit: remove the number plate light unit located in the rear bumper of the car. Once the light unit is removed, extract the bulb holder using your hands, then disconnect the bulb from it. Fit the new bulb/LED (same size and voltage), inserting it into the bulb holder, then reassemble the light unit into the tailgate, pressing it in until it locks. Screw in the securing screws to finish.
