Removing the Car Radio from a Hyundai Elantra

What to do if your car radio is damaged? Here’s how to remove it from above the dashboard. Pry underneath the trim plastic (bottom side: detach it from above the dashboard). Pry at the front of the cover plastic. Remove the cover from above the central console. Once the car radio is free from constraints, unscrew the securing screws located on its sides with a screwdriver. Pull out the car radio with your hands and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). After disassembly, simply install the new car radio into the dashboard of your vehicle.
