Removing the dashboard from a 2001 Hyundai Elantra is a relatively simple task to do on your own. Start by removing the drawer located on the central console, then proceed to remove all parts using a plastic lever. Continue removing along the entire edge of the dashboard.

Once the hard plastic part is removed, disconnect the instrument cluster connector and remove the radio. Disconnect the antenna and connector, then proceed with the desired maintenance.

After completing the maintenance, reassemble all previously removed parts by following the steps in reverse.
