Operation: How to replace the bulb of the license plate light in Hyundai IX35?

In case one or both of the license plate light bulbs in the Hyundai IX35 fails, we can proceed to the replacement without the help of specialized technicians as it is a very simple procedure. We open the trunk lid, insert a flat-tipped screwdriver into the side slot of the bulb unit and gently lift it outwards. Now, let's rotate the lamp holder counterclockwise in order to extract it. The bulb to be replaced will be a W5W RB501. Reassembly is just as simple. However, we must bear in mind that you hold the bulb by the socket and not by the connector, as the latter is very delicate and could be damaged.
