How to Replace the Number Plate Light Bulb in a Hyundai IX35?

If one or both of the number plate light bulbs in a Hyundai IX35 fail, you can replace them without the help of specialised technicians as it is a very simple procedure. Open the boot lid, insert a flat-head screwdriver into the side slot of the bulb unit, and gently lift it outwards. Now, rotate the bulb holder counter-clockwise to extract it. The bulb to be replaced will be a W5W RB501. Reassembly is equally straightforward; remember to handle the bulb by the holder and not by the connector, as the latter is very delicate and may be damaged.
