Replacing the Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Hyundai Accent MK 1, LC - Years 1999-2005

To comfortably replace the front headlamp bulbs, it is suggested to remove the headlamps themselves as this is a very simple operation; start by opening the front bonnet and disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery, then remove the plastic clips securing the bumper to the slam panel to facilitate the extraction of the headlamp from its housing, after removing the securing pins and disconnecting the power connectors; once the headlamp is removed, take off the rubber protective cap, release the retaining spring of the bulb and extract it from its socket to install the new one, secure it with the spring, reposition the rubber cap and reverse the steps to reinstall the headlamp; it is advisable to apply anti-oxidant grease to the bulb contacts before connecting the power plug.
