Replacing the Battery in the Hyundai i30

If the battery in your Hyundai i30 is flat and does not hold charge after attempts to recharge, you need to replace it with a new one. Open the bonnet and locate the battery in the centre of the engine bay, on the driver's side. Start by disconnecting the terminals, beginning with the negative, using a ratchet spanner. With the same spanner fitted with an extension, unscrew the bracket that secures the battery in place. Now you can remove the battery using the handles provided. Clean the battery tray, fit the new battery, secure it with its bracket, and reconnect the terminals to the corresponding poles.
